The timeless classic that is white porcelain with an elegant gold rim is naturally available from FÜRSTENBERG in many different patterns ranging from the historical such as GRECQUE ATHENA to the modern and
MY CHINA! TREASURE GOLD. Furthermore, the manufactory also offers a wide range of gold decors that illustrate just how varied designs in the shining metal can be. The pure fascination of gold is evoked by the unique SIP OF GOLD champagne goblets when sparkling wine or even plain sparkling mineral water creates a magical play of light with golden bubbles inside the goblets with the fully gold-plated interior. The pattern SHIFTING COLORS by designer Alfredo Häberli plays with coloured surfaces in a strong gold, vibrant blue and soft pastels that are laid over each other. CLAIR DE LUNE creates endless new snapshots with its filigree representation of the phases of the moon in 24-carat gold.
PRECISION HANDWORK FOR AN EXCLUSIVE MATERIAL
Working with a high-quality material such as gold calls for particular care and absolute skill. FÜRSTENBERG uses its experience of over 275 years in the art of porcelain to lovingly create, by hand, gold porcelain to the very highest standards. For instance, gold staffages that continue beyond an edge (such as the rim of a cup) can only be painted by hand. Large-scale gold décors are also applied by hand and then finely polished. This means that every item is truly unique, and is made directly after ordering for that specific customer – yet another sign of true exclusivity.
